Sugarman Sam makes a return visit to Bourne To The Blues as he brings back the hard -hitting blues/rock of the 60’s and 70’s with a modern edge Sugarman Sam burst on to the scene aged 15, taking influence from past greats such as Eric Clapton/Cream, Paul Kossoff/Free and Jimmy Page/Led Zeppelin and combining them with the more contemporary sounds of Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Warren Haynes/Govt Mule. Sam has plied his trade by touring across the UK, playing festivals such as HRH Blues, The Great British R&B Festival and Kent Bluesrockfest and appearing in national publications ‘Blues Matters’ and ‘Blues in Britain’. He has joined a host of names riding the current wave of UK-based blues guitar gunslingers and is rapidly rising in popularity and demand. Most recently he has appeared fronting Mark Olbrich’s Blues Eternity as well as guesting with the likes of 24Pesos and The Buster Cornelius Quartet.
